We all know the saying, “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!” But why do we say that?
While we sleep our bodies are fasting, and when we eat within 2 hours of waking up we are starting up our brains and bodies to prepare for the day ahead of us. Eating breakfast gives us the energy and nutrients we need for the day, not to mention the fact it can help with weight loss by reducing the desiring for excessive snacking before lunch!
However, the most important part of breakfast is not just eating it, but what you eat! Within these recipes you can find healthy, hearty foods as well as Saturday morning we made it through the week celebratory meals!

Crepe Recipes:
Crepes With A Creamy Filling
When I was in high school, my grandma gave me a crepe maker that she had had for years but had never really used – she thought that I might use it since I liked to cook and try new recipes. This appliance may not be the most attractive or modern one that I own, and the handle has been taped several times, but I have used it many, many times and it still makes a perfect crepe every single time! See the Crepes With A Creamy Filling recipe here!
Lemon Crepes with Strawberry Syrup
We love crepes at our house and when I found this fantastic recipe for fresh strawberry syrup, I knew I wanted to pair them with lemon crepes. It was delicious combination and everyone loved it. It was easy enough to make as far as crepes go, but they looked so pretty, you could easily serve them to guests. See the Lemon Crepes With Strawberry Syrup recipe here!
Gluten-Free, Sugar-Free, Dairy-Free, Protein-Packed Crepes
If you have had to succumb to the gluten-free lifestyle, along with being dairy-free which makes for some fun challenges when it comes to being in the kitchen these amazing crepes are definitely for you! Along with that, we have 3 of the pickiest kids in the whole world so when I created this, I was sure they wouldn’t approve but the whole family was happy!! See the Gluten-Free, Sugar-Free, Dairy-Free, Protein-Packed Crepes recipe here!
Savory Crepes with Cheese, Spinach, and a Fried Egg
A crepe is basically a really thin pancake that can be stuffed with anything you want from sweet to savory. I must say although I love a good Nutella crepe, a savory crepe is where it is at! You can stuff your crepe with just about anything but I love cheese, wilted spinach and a fried egg. And that’s what we did! See the Savory Crepes recipe here!
