HAM & CHEESE OMELET ROLL

You’ll absolutely adore this easy-to-make but gorgeous Ham & Cheese Omelet Roll. Light, but flavorful and so simple. Perfect for breakfast or brunch.I got this lovely idea for an omelet roll from an old Taste of Home cookbook. It’s easy to make and is perfect for breakfast or brunch! It has great flavor and I absolutely love the presentation. It’s one of those recipes that looks like it’s either difficult, took a lot of time or both. I’m happy to tell you all- it’s none of the above! It truly is simple to make.

Ham & Cheese Omelet Roll - Butter With A Side of BreadHam & Cheese Omelet Roll

  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 TBSP flour
  • 6 TBSP milk
  • 1 TBSP Ranch dressing
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 7 eggs
  • 1/2 mounded cup diced ham
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar Jack cheese + more for topping
  • salt & pepper

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Whisk together cream cheese, flour, milk, Ranch dressing, onion powder and salt & pepper. Whisk in eggs. Add in ham and stir to combine. Pour into a 9×13 pan (or quarter bakers sheet like I used) that’s been lined with foil and sprayed with non-stick spray.

Bake at 375 degrees for 20-22 minutes, until edges are beginning to puff up.

Remove from oven and spread top of eggs with cheese. Let sit 5-8 minutes until cheese has melted.

Beginning on one of the long sides, gently roll up baked eggs. (Egg is easier to roll if it’s cooled somewhat. Your egg might split and that’s okay- it will still be fine!) Place roll seam side down on baking sheet. Sprinkle with a bit more cheese.

Return to the oven for 5 minutes.

Let cool for a few minutes prior to slicing.

Serves 5-6.
