Bacon Avocado Deviled Eggs are the most amazing deviled eggs ever! I’ll be completely honest- I have never been a huge fan of deviled eggs, but then I saw this version of them and knew I needed to give it a try!
The addition of avocado and bacon makes these deviled eggs absolutely delicious. A little bit of paprika on top is delicious too! After having these eggs, I’m not sure I can go back to the regular kind ever again. I don’t make deviled eggs very often, but they are definitely a must-have recipe for Easter. Anyone else always have deviled eggs on Easter?

How do you make perfect hard-boiled eggs?

I have tried several different methods, but I haven’t found any that are actually much easier than just my basic, original method! I just place the eggs in a single layer at the bottom of a heavy saucepan and cover them with water. You don’t need more than an inch or two of water on the top of the eggs. I also add a teaspoon of salt to prevent cracking and make the eggs easier to peel. Then I turn the heat to high and bring the water to a full boil. I turn off the heat, leave the pan on the burner, put a lid on it and let them sit for 12 minutes. Drain the water and run cold water over the eggs to cool them quickly and prevent further cooking. Store them in the fridge until you are ready to peel them.

BACON AVOCADO DEVILED EGGS

  • 12 hard-boiled eggs
  • 3/4 cup diced avocado
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp mayo
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 3/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • salt to taste (I used about 1/4 tsp)
  • 2 slices bacon, cooked
  1. Slice the eggs in half and remove the yolks from the hard-boiled eggs.
  2. Mix the yolks with all of the other ingredients and then divide it among the whites, refilling all of the eggs.
  3. Top with crumbled bacon and a sprinkle of paprika, if desired.  Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 12 hard-boiled eggs
  • 3/4 cup diced avocado
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp mayo
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 3/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • salt to taste I used about 1/4 tsp
  • 2 slices bacon cooked

Instructions

  1. Slice the eggs in half and remove the yolks from the hard-boiled eggs.
  2. Mix the yolks with all of the other ingredients and then divide it among the whites, refilling all of the eggs.
  3. Top with crumbled bacon and a sprinkle of Smoky Paprika, if desired.  Enjoy!
