Brunch Skewer Ingredients
Pancakes on a stick: We used 2 Foster Farms Turkey Sausage and Pancakes on a Stick, but you can use any brand or flavored variety that you want.
Strawberries: 4 freshly sliced strawberries will add natural sweetness and color.
Banana: You need 1 ripe banana that has been sliced into chunks the same thickness as the strawberries.
Wooden skewers: While this isn’t an ingredient, you will need 4 kabob skewers for the cut pancake wrap and fruit to go onto. However, you can also reuse the stick from the pancake if you don’t have skewers on hand.
Maple syrup (optional): This is an optional ingredient, but you may wish to have some maple syrup for dipping or drizzling over your skewers.
How to make Easy Breakfast Skewers
Prep
Begin by cooking two of the pancake wrapped sausages by placing them on a microwave safe plate. Heat as directed according to the package directions and give them a moment to cool so that they are safe to handle.
Next wash the strawberries and dry them off on a paper towel. Then slice the strawberries and the bananas to about ¼ inch thick pieces.
After that, pull the sticks out of the pancakes and proceed to slice them into ¼ inch to ½ inch thick slices.
Assemble
Now, take the wooden skewers and alternate adding the strawberries, bananas, and pancake slices. I like to place the tip of the strawberries on the tops like a little rocket ship or hat.
Serve your skewers on the go or with maple syrup at home. Enjoy!

Where do you find frozen pancake wraps?
We had a little bit of an adventure finding the Foster Farms® Pancake Wraps at Walmart – I was looking next to the frozen waffles and sausage for a while before I realized they were on the next aisle over near the corn dogs! Make sure to look in the right spot!
Can I serve the breakfast skewers with anything else?
Yes, you can serve them with a side of yogurt or a small bowl of mixed berries for a balanced breakfast.
Can I make these in advance?
Unfortunately, this breakfast recipe is best when it’s made and served immediately. If you allow it to be made too far in advance, the sausage and pancakes will be cold and possibly soggy from being in contact with the wet fruits for too long.
Can I cook sausage pancake on a stick in the oven?
Yes, you can bake the sausage pancake on a stick in the oven for a crispier texture. Preheat your oven to 375°F and place the skewers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the pancake is golden brown.
