Ingredients

  • 2 Sausage and Pancakes on a Stick
  • 4 Fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1 Ripe banana sliced
  • 4 Wooden skewers
  • Maple syrup for dipping optional

Instructions

  • Prep: Cook two of the pancake wrapped sausages by placing them on a microwave safe plate. Heat as directed according to the package directions and give them a moment to cool so that they are safe to handle.
  • Wash the strawberries and dry them off on a paper towel. Then slice the strawberries and the bananas to about ¼ inch thick pieces.
  • Pull the sticks out of the pancakes and proceed to slice them into ¼ inch to ½ inch thick slices.
  • Assemble: Take the wooden skewers and alternate adding the strawberries, bananas, and pancake slices. I like to place the tip of the strawberries on the tops like a little rocket ship or hat. Serve your skewers on the go or with maple syrup at home. Enjoy!

Notes

These breakfast skewers are intended to be prepared and enjoyed the same day, leftovers do not save well.
