Several years ago, I took my kids to the “Free Slurpee Day” at our local 7-11 and it was love at first slurp. Since then, we’ve gone nearly every year for for free slurpee day, but my kids ask for slurpees all summer long. I came up with a complicated copycat recipe that involved kool aid powder and sprite. Fun summer drinks shouldn’t be complicated though! Since the weather has finally warmed up to the point of cold drinks sounding appetizing, I decided to whip up a slightly healthier (and easier!) version to enjoy with dinner the other night. We loved it and it’s my go-to recipe for homemade slurpees now. Find the Homemade Peach Slurpees recipe here!
