A Perfect Holiday Treat
Snowman Brownie Bites bring a delightful twist to holiday treats. They combine the rich flavor of brownies with festive decoration, making them a perfect addition to any holiday gathering.
Unlike Santa, the Easter Bunny, and a Turkey, Snowmen are representative of an entire season vs. a single holiday. Meaning that you can enjoy the snowmen theme (anything) from late November until February or March, and it is still socially acceptable. This means that you have a several month window to show off these cute snowman bites to everyone you know, and we know you will want to!

Why you will love this easy brownie recipe
- Minimal effort. This recipe couldn’t be any easier, with just 5 ingredients and a couple of steps, you will have a festive dessert prepared quickly. Make it using boxed brownie mix, and it’s even less prep work. A perfect recipe for when you don’t want to put in too much effort and still want fabulous results.
- They are delicious. Chocolate and cherries, need I say more? From the milk chocolate brownie to the white chocolate coating and the sweet and juicy maraschino cherries inside every bite, you’ll feel like you’re eating an even better version of Queen Anne Cordial Cherries.
- The recipe is kid friendly. What kid doesn’t like to get their hands messy in the kitchen? Grab your kiddos and set up an assembly line. Everyone can enjoy smashing the brownies around the chocolate and rolling them into little balls, dipping them in chocolate, and decorating their own snowmen!

Snowman Brownie Truffle Ingredients
Brownies: You will need a 9×13 pan’s worth of cooked and prepared brownies. You can use homemade brownies, boxed mix or store-bought brownies.
Cherries: Use 18 stemless maraschino cherries for the centers of the snowman heads, but you can easily omit the cherries if you don’t want/like them.
Almond bark: For the chocolate coating, you will need 1 pound of white almond bark to melt down. Don’t be tempted to use white chocolate chips for dipping, they do not melt as smoothly.
Icing: To add the face and nose, you will want to use black and orange colored cookie icing; this is typically found near the sprinkles and bagged icings in the grocery store’s baking aisle.
Gumdrops: You need about 36 gumdrops for the most perfect pair of earmuffs, this will make 18 total. Choose any color or mix and match.

How to make Snowman Brownie Bites
Prep
Begin by baking the brownies in a 9×13 baking dish, according to the package directions. Allow them to cool completely before proceeding with the rest of the recipe.
When ready to proceed, place a piece of parchment paper over a baking sheet and set it aside.
Assemble the centers
Next, trim off the edges of the cooked brownies; we won’t be using the hard crusts. Feel free to snack on these crunchy brownie parts while you make these festive treats!
Then, slice the remaining brownies into 18 squares.

After that, place one brownie square into the palm of your hand, then place a maraschino cherry in the middle and mold the brownie around the cherry. Roll the brownie and cherry into a ball.
Place the brownie ball onto the parchment paper lined baking sheet and continue to repeat until all 18 brownie pieces have been rolled.
Chill the brownies in the fridge for 15-20 minutes to help them harden and set.

Melt chocolate
In a medium size bowl, microwave the almond bark for 30 second intervals, until it’s smooth and melted.
Then, use 2 forks to dip and roll the chilled brownie balls into the melted almond bark, and then place them back onto the parchment paper lined baking sheet. Continue until all the brownies have been coated in the melted chocolate.

Decorate
Next cut your gumdrops in half so that they look like earmuffs when placed on either side of the snowman head. Place all the halved gumdrops onto the snowmen while the chocolate is still wet.
Now use the icing to pipe a headband between the two earmuffs, and add some eyes, a mouth, and a carrot nose.
Let the brownie bites set for 10-15 minutes, then serve, and enjoy!
