This homemade chicken bacon ranch pizza is super easy to make with a pre-baked crust and rotisserie chicken. Easy, at-home pizzas always taste better than delivery, at a fraction of the cost. What’s not to love?
Friday night pizza night is a long-standing tradition in our house. Sometimes we order pizza from our favorite local pizza place, but a lot of times we like to get creative and make our own. Making your own pizza allows you to customize your ingredients and make your pizza exactly the way you want it!
CHICKEN BACON RANCH PIZZA
Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza is so easy to make and is absolutely delicious. Use a pre-baked pizza crust and top it with ranch dressing, crumbled bacon, rotisserie chicken, and mozzarella cheese. Bake the pizza until the cheese is melted and the pizza is heated all the way through. Slice and serve!
Ingredients in Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza
Pizza crust – The easiest way to make the pizza is to use a 12-inch pre-baked pizza crust. You can make a crust from homemade pizza dough or buy pizza crust dough from the grocery store. All of the options work great!
Chicken – I also use rotisserie chicken because it is fast, easy, and delicious, but you can bake chicken and dice or shred it. Here is our favorite way to make shredded chicken.
Bacon – You must cook 6 slices of bacon and then crumble it to add to the pizza. Here is the easiest way to cook bacon! If you prefer, you can use 1/2 cup of bacon crumbles instead.
Ranch dressing – You can use any brand of ranch dressing that you have on hand. Hidden Valley is always a good choice, but you can use any type of ranch dressing. If you have a favorite recipe for homemade ranch, that works great too!
Mozzarella cheese – The recipe calls for shredded mozzarella cheese. Freshly shredded works best, but pre-shredded cheese works great too! I actually prefer to thinly slice fresh mozzarella and lay the slices across the top of the pizza. You can use an Italian blend if you’d like. All the options are great as long as it’s cheese!
How to make Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza
Preheat the oven to 425°.
Place the pizza crust on a pizza baking sheet or pizza stone and spread ⅓ cup of the Ranch dressing evenly. Sprinkle ¾ cup of the mozzarella cheese.
Spread the shredded chicken and crumbled bacon evenly over the pizza.
Top with the remaining cheese.
Cook for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is fully melted and the edges begin to brown.
Remove and allow to cool slightly before slicing.

- 1 ½ cups rotisserie chicken breast shredded
- 6 slices of bacon cooked and crumbled
- ½ cup Ranch dressing
- 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese freshly grated
Instructions

CAN I USE HOMEMADE PIZZA DOUGH?
This recipe calls for a pre-baked pizza crust, but if you wish to make the pizza dough from scratch, you definitely can. Or you can buy pizza dough from your grocery store. Many grocery stores sell freshly made pizza dough in the refrigerated section near the deli with other easy dinner options.
Here is an easy pizza crust recipe that we’ve made a million times:
- 3 ½ cups Flour
- 1 ½ cups Warm Water
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 ½ tsp Active Dry Yeast
- ½ tsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
In a large bowl, dissolve the active yeast and brown sugar in the water, and let this mixture sit for 10 minutes.
Next, stir in the salt and oil into the yeast solution, then mix in 2 1/2 cups of the flour. Stir to combine until a sticky dough forms.
Turn the dough out onto a clean, well-floured surface, and knead in more flour until the dough is no longer sticky. Place the dough into a well-oiled bowl, and cover it with a cloth. Let the dough rise until it has doubled in size; this should take about 1 hour.
Once the crust has risen, preheat the oven to 425° and then roll the dough out into a pizza shape that fits your pizza pan. When it reaches that size, sprinkle some cornmeal on your pizza stone or pan and then lay the crust on top (this prevents sticking). Bake the plain crust for 7 minutes in the middle of the oven. Add toppings and cook for 12-15 minutes.
What to serve with pizza?
Pizza is great as a stand-alone meal, but sometimes we like to add some sides. Add a Lemon Caesar Salad and some Oven Baked Chicken Wings and you’re ready to have a party. And don’t forget dessert! Everyone loves Layered Oreo Pudding Dessert or Frozen Raspberry Pie.
HOW TO STORE LEFTOVER PIZZA?
You can keep the cooled and baked slices inside of an airtight container, wrapped in plastic wrap, or placed into a Ziploc-style bag inside of your fridge for up to a few days. Eat cold or reheat depending on your preference.
