How to make Cauldron Oreo Ball Truffles
Prep
Get started by crushing the cookie sandwiches into a fine crumb. Use a ziplocked bag and rolling pin for this step, or a food processor if you have one.
Also line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
Batter
Then in a large bowl combine the cookie crumbs and cream cheese. Using an electric hand mixer beat the ingredients into a smooth mixture.
Next divide the filling into 2 bowls. Use food coloring to dye one bowl green and one purple.
Now take a teaspoon of each color and roll them into a ball gently swirling the colors. Take about ½ teaspoon of the filling and roll into a ball and flatten. Place this on top of the ball you already made to create the top of the cauldron. Place each assembled cauldron on the parchment lined tray. Repeat until all the mixture has been used.

Freeze
Place the cauldrons in the freezer for 1 hour (up to overnight).
Assemble
Once you are ready to start assembling these treats, melt the black candy melts either in a double boiler or in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals until melted and smooth.
Then carefully dip each cauldron in the black chocolate and set on the parchment paper lined tray to set.
Next melt the green candy melts the same way and place the melted mixture into a ziplocked bag and snip off a small corner.
Proceed to pipe the green chocolate on the top of the cauldron and make it drip a bit off the edge. Immediately sprinkle on the green candy pearls to look like bubbles. Add candy eyeballs or other Halloween sprinkles if you like.
The chocolate will set within an hour. Serve and enjoy!
