As part of my amazing ambassadorship with Krusteaz, I’ve had the chance to bake a lot this past year. I adore baked goods! Spring is not far away and I love the bright, fresh foods associated with the season. Here are several recipes on my list of things to bake/ make this Spring…
These are one of my favorite muffins ever. They were so simple to make and I love the texture. And the flavor! My whole family agreed these muffins were amazing. The cheesecake filling isn’t overwhelming- instead it adds a lovely moist, richness that makes you want to…well, grab another muffin!
Lemon Cake Truffles made easy with lemon pound cake crumbled and formed into small truffles, then dipped in white chocolate! Easy Lemon Truffles perfect for parties!
I think my favorite way to eat lemon is in a lemon bar. The thick crust, the gooey lemon filling…it’s the best and makes me drool just thinking about it. Tart and sweet, meyer lemon bars are the perfect combination of flavors. Over the years of being a food blogger I’ve learned a lot about dessert. Mostly, I’ve learned how much I like to overeat it, but I’ve also learned about pairings that go so well together.
These cookies start with one of my favorite cookie box mixes; Krusteaz Butter Vanilla Sugar Cookie Mix. The soft buttery cookie is great on it’s own and I usually just have it that way but it was a great blank canvas to add some seasonal flavors to. With fresh cranberries, orange zest and juice and an optional white chocolate chips addition, these cookies will bring the holiday cheer to anyone you share them with.
Raspberries have been readily available recently and to make use of them, I swirled them into a lemon cheesecake batter to create this Raspberry Lemon Cream Cheese Loaf. With the nice burst of citrus notes and plump, ripe raspberries throughout, this was a nice treat for any summer day.
In a nutshell, I added a bit of almond extract to the (already yummy) Krusteaz Meyer Lemon Pound Cake Mix, then baked and glazed the pound cake as directed on the box. The mix for the glaze is also included in the box, and I added a bit of almond extract to that as well.
I had quite a few blueberries on hand and that’s when I decided on making this Lemon Blueberry Bundt Cake, A sweet batter studded with fresh blueberries which is finished off with a honey and lemon glaze.
