Tropical banana sparklers are tasty mocktail drinks that the whole family can enjoy. Made with bananas, pineapple-flavored sparkling water, and a little honey, these drinks are easy, sweet, and full of carbonated fun.
Our family LOVES mocktails, and I’m always on the lookout for new and creative ways to make a fun drink. I discovered Dasani Sparkling beverages last year, and I have to say, I’m hooked! I love that it’s naturally flavored sparkling water- no added sugar, no caffeine, and zero calories. Sometimes I just crave that carbonation, so it’s great to have this delicious alternative to regular soda.
My kids adore it too- especially when you create something incredible with it, as I did with these Tropical Banana Sparklers! Just 3 ingredients, and you won’t believe how good they taste. The sweet banana mixed in with the tropical flavors- all with the added sparkle that everyone loves. Yum!

Tropical Banana Sparklers Ingredients
Sparkling water- You will need 2 12-ounce sized cans of Dasani sparkling tropical pineapple flavor for the base of this recipe. If you can’t find Dasani, you can use a different brand!
Bananas– Use 2 heaping cups of frozen ripe bananas for added thickness, sweetness, and flavor.
Honey– To give this drink a little more sweetness, you’ll want to use 2 tablespoons of honey or agave.
How to Make Tropical Banana Sparklers
Prep bananas
Slice the ripe bananas about 1 1/2″ thick. You want bananas that are ripe but still hold their shape. (Ripe bananas are sweeter!)
Place the bananas in a freezer bag and freeze for 2-3 hours or until solid.
Blend bananas
Place frozen banana slices in a blender or food processor.
Add in the honey. Blend until smooth and creamy. (I found it was easier to pulse at first, then once it got creamier, I could blend it easier.)
Assemble
Spoon the banana whip into individual glasses until they’re 1/3 to 1/2 full.
Top with pineapple flavored sparkling water. Stir several times gently.
Garnish with a pineapple slice and a fun straw.
Enjoy!

How many servings does this recipe make?
This recipe makes about 5-6 beverages depending on the size of the glasses and how full you make them, so there should be plenty to share with the whole family. Of course, making extra is always a great idea because you never know who is going to ask for another glassful.
Can I use a different flavor of sparkling water?
Absolutely! You can switch this recipe up however you want! Use a cherry flavor, lemon-lime, or whatever else you think might taste good. You can even swap out the bananas for a different fruit, like blueberries, if you really want to change it up.
