What is a strawberry banana ice cream float?
It’s like a cross between a smoothie and float. Using fresh or frozen strawberries and bananas we pulverize them in a blender until smooth and use it as the base of the drink. This gives us a tasty and thick float drink, unlike anything you’ve ever had before. You’re going to enjoy this drink and all of the flavorful possibilities it brings this summer.
Strawberry banana float Ingredients
-Strawberries: 2 cups of strawberries will give us a red huge to our drink and add a nice bite of tangy goodness.
-Bananas: We want 2 whole ripe bananas for added natural sweetness and creating a thick flavorful texture.
-Honey: If you don’t wish to use honey you could also follow the recipe card notes for using plain sugar as well.
-Vanilla ice cream: Almost every type of “float drink” uses vanilla ice cream as a base to get that cold creamy texture. Frozen vanilla yogurt could be a healthier option as well.
-Sparkling water: We want to use 2 cups worth of berry-flavored sparkling water to give us that fizziness we expect from floats without missing out on any delicious flavor.
