INGREDIENTS IN BAKED PARMESAN POTATO WEDGES
Potatoes – You will need 4 large baking potatoes. Russett or gold potatoes work best for this recipe, but you can use any type of potatoes that you like.
Parmesan cheese – I usually use the grated Parmesan that comes in a jar for this recipe, but you can use fresh shredded Parmesan if you’d like. If you do use shredded cheese, place it in a blender or food processor for a few seconds to get a fine powder.
Spices – The recipe calls for garlic salt, garlic powder, dried oregano, and paprika. You can add or subtract any of the flavors you don’t like or add additional spices if you’d like.
Olive oil – You will need to brush or spritz the potato wedges with olive oil before sprinkling the cheese or spices over the top. You can swap out the olive oil with avocado oil.

Tips & Tricks for the Tastiest Potatoes!
Preheat the baking tray: Preheat the baking tray in the oven for a few minutes before adding the potatoes. This initial heat can help create a crispy bottom layer.
Watch cooking closely: Keep an eye on the potatoes towards the end of the cooking time. They should be browned and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Cooking times may vary slightly depending on your oven and the size of the potato wedges.

Does soaking potatoes in cold water make them crispier?
Soaking potatoes in cold water can help remove excess starch and make them crispier when roasted. However, it is important to dry the potatoes thoroughly before roasting them to prevent excess moisture from steaming the potatoes instead of roasting them. Soaking can also cause the potatoes to lose some nutrients, so it is best to use this method sparingly.

Storage and Reheating Baked Parmesan Potato Wedges
Once the Baked Parmesan Potato Wedges are cooked, they can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Letting the potatoes cool down to room temperature before storing them in the refrigerator is important.
There are a few options for reheating the potatoes. One option is to reheat them in the oven. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and spread the potatoes out on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until heated through and crispy.
Another option is to reheat them in a skillet. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a small amount of oil. Add the potatoes and cook, stirring occasionally, until heated through and crispy.
To ensure that the potatoes retain their crispiness as much as possible, it is recommended to store them separately from any sauces or toppings. This will prevent the potatoes from becoming soggy.
