Easy Peach Milkshakes are made with vanilla ice cream, canned peaches, and milk. Add whipped cream and a cherry on top for a deliciously cold treat that is perfect for summer!

Easy Peach Milkshakes have become one of my new favorite summertime treats! I live in southern Utah and it is just so hot. In the summer, it is well over 100° almost every single day! We’ve been trying all the cold treat recipes to try to survive the heat, and this one is perfect.
The recipe makes 2 large milkshakes, or you can divide it up into 4 or 5 smaller ones so the whole family can enjoy a cold treat together.

Ingredients in Easy Peach Milkshakes
Vanilla ice cream – Vanilla ice cream is the obvious choice for traditional peach milkshakes. You can definitely change this up if you’re feeling adventurous! You could use peach ice cream or raspberry or any other flavor you have in the freezer.
Peaches – The recipe calls for a 14.5-ounce can of peaches. Don’t drain the juice out! You can swap out the canned peaches with fresh or frozen ones if you prefer. If you don’t use canned peaches, you may need to add a little bit of extra milk to thin out the milkshake to the preferred consistency.
Milk – You will need a cup of milk. Any type of milk is just fine. You can use skim milk, 2%, whole milk, cream or even a non-dairy alternative!
Toppings – These are all optional, but all are great ideas! You can add whipped cream, peach slices, cherries, etc. to top off your milkshake.

How to make Easy Peach Milkshakes

Add the ice cream, milk, and whole can of peaches (including the liquid) into your blender.

Blend for 15-20 seconds or until everything is broken down, but you don’t want to overmix or the milkshake will start to thin out.

Pour into glasses and top with your favorite toppings! Enjoy immediately.

FAQs
What type of syrup should the canned peaches be in?
This does not matter that much, either heavy or light syrup will work well.
Can I use fresh or frozen peaches in place of the canned ones?
You can, but you may need to increase the amount of milk you use by half of a cup or so, to help the mixture blend better. If using frozen, you may also want to slightly thaw them to help them blend easier.

How do I save the leftovers?
If there are leftovers, there isn’t a good way to save them. Unfortunately, milkshakes do not save well in the fridge or freezer, the texture will be different if you try to save it either way, and there isn’t a good way to revive it once the texture changes.
Can I make dairy-free milkshakes?
You can easily replace the ice cream, milk, and whipped cream with dairy-free alternatives!
CAN I MAKE OTHER MILKSHAKE FLAVORS?
This recipe is so easy to change! You can use any type of canned fruit you’d like, or you can change up the ice cream flavor too.
