How to make Big Mac Tacos
Sauce prep
Begin by whisking together all the sauce ingredients in a bowl until well combined. Then place it in the fridge to chill while the rest of the meal is prepared.
Prep beef
Next, portion out the uncooked beef into 4 equal sections and place each section onto a tortilla shell. Using clean hands or a fork, spread the beef on the tortilla shell.
Then top each patty with ⅛ of a teaspoon of garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
After that, dice the onion into small pieces and add 2 tablespoons of the onion to each taco. Proceed to press the seasonings and onions into the beef.
Cook
Continue to place the tortilla beef side down into a sauté pan and cook for 4-6 minutes over low-medium heat or until the beef is no longer pink.
Then flip the tortilla shell over and add a slice of cheese to each patty. Place a lid on top of the sauté pan for 1 minute so the shell gets golden brown and the cheese melts.
Remove the tortilla shell from the sauté pan once the cheese has melted.
Then top each tortilla shell with lettuce, the remainder of the onion, pickles, and drizzle the sauce over all the toppings. Serve immediately and enjoy!
