Ingredients for Snow Ice Cream
Snow: You will need about 8 cups of fresh clean snow to make this frozen treat. If you live in a snow free plan, you can use shaved ice as well.
Condensed milk: You need 1 14-ounce can of sweetened condensed milk to give this a creamy texture to resembles ice cream.
Vanilla extract: Adding in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract helps enhance the flavor of this cool treat.
Easy step by step on how to make Snow Ice Cream
Start by collecting your snow. If you are having a snow storm, place a large bowl or two outside for a couple hours and collect it as it falls. Or you can scrape off the first layer of the snow and dig down for fresh and clean snow. Also, feel free to use shaved ice if that is what you prefer to use.
Disclaimer: Always make sure the snow is clean. It takes at least one or two hours for snow to clear pollutants from the air, so use the snow that has fallen after that first cleansing snow. It also should be noted to steer clear of snow where animals or birds eat, no sticks and STAY AWAY FROM YELLOW SNOW.
After you have your snow in a large bowl, pour the condensed milk in and add the vanilla extract. Stir to combine.
Serve immediately in small bowls and enjoy!

What else can I add to snow to make a cold treat?
Really, the possibilities are endless! With this recipe we add the condensed milk to create a more ice cream like treat. But if you want to make it more like a slushy you could add any number of things. I personally love adding Coca-Cola soda, I pack clean snow into a cup and add a little at a time then stir to combine. You can also add any type of juice, or a flavor syrup would be amazing too. Any liquid that has a strong flavor would make a great ingredient.

Not long at all, eat it quick before it melts! This treat is made to be enjoyed immediately. But don’t worry, if a storm is in your area you will have plenty of snow to create this fun treat many times over.
