We love bananas. Banana bread, banana cake, banana cookies…it’s all delicious. These Strawberry Banana Bars are so easy to make, and have the most amazing flavor. You start with a box of banana bread mix and then add some strawberry pie filling on top – it really couldn’t be any easier!
Ingredients in Strawberry Banana Bars
Banana quick bread & muffin mix – This can be found at the grocery store right near all of the other muffin/brownie/cake mixes. I’ve always been able to find it on the top shelf! The box should be about 14 ounces – you can use any brand you’d like. Even a banana nut muffin mix would work well!
Butter -Just make sure the butter is softened to room temperature before adding to the banana bread mix so that it will mix more easily!
Egg – Just one egg is all you need to help bind the ingredients together and give the bars the right consistency.
Sweetened condensed milk – Adds sweetness and creaminess to this delicious banana recipe.
Strawberry pie filling – I think strawberries go the best with bananas, but you can use any pie filling you’d like! Raspberry works great too!
How to make Strawberry Banana Bars
Preheat oven to 350°.
In a small bowl, combine the bread mix with the butter and egg and stir until well mixed and crumbly. Press onto the bottom of a well-greased 9X13 pan.
Bake at 350° for about 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Spread the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the warm crust. Spoon the pie filling evenly over the condensed milk and lightly spread if necessary to cover the top.
Bake for 35-40 more minutes, or until golden brown. Cool and then cut into squares.

- 1 can 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can 20 ounces strawberry pie filling
