No-Bake Twix Pie is made in less than 5 minutes of prep time. Deliciously creamy no-bake pie recipe with a buttery crust, a creamy filling, and lots of Twix bars!
We love all varieties of pie, but the ones that don’t require any baking are the best. Only a few minutes of prep time and then a few hours of chill time and the pie is ready to serve. No bake pies can be made ahead of time, making them so easy to take to parties and other special occasions.
NO-BAKE TWIX PIE
This simple no-bake pie is made with a crust made from crushed vanilla wafers and butter. The filling is made with cream cheese, powdered sugar, caramel sauce, Cool Whip topping, and chopped Twix bars. Add a few more chopped Twix bars on top, refrigerate, and serve with a chocolate drizzle on top.
INGREDIENTS IN NO-BAKE TWIX PIE
Vanilla wafers – You need 1 1/2 cups of crushed vanilla wafer cookies to make the pie crust. This is equivalent to about 30-35 vanilla wafers.
Butter – Six tablespoons of melted butter are mixed with the vanilla wafer crumbs to make the crust.
Cream cheese – You will need 8 ounces of cream cheese. You can use regular, low-fat or non-fat cream cheese. Just make sure it is softened to room temperature before adding to the recipe.
Powdered sugar – Adds a little bit of sweetness to the pie, while maintaining the smooth texture.
Caramel sauce – Mixing caramel sauce into the pie filling adds a rich flavor that pair so well with the caramel in the Twix bars.
Vanilla extract – The higher the quality of the vanilla, the better.
Cool Whip – You will need 12 ounces of Cool Whip. Make sure it is completely thawed before mixing into the other ingredients.
Twix candy bars – You will need about 2 cups of chopped Twix bars.
Chocolate sauce – A little bit of chocolate drizzled on top makes the whole thing even better! This part is totally optional, but you can’t ever go wrong by adding more chocolate!
HOW TO MAKE NO-BAKE TWIX PIE
MAKE THE CRUST
Mix the vanilla wafer crumbs and melted butter in a medium mixing bowl until well combined.
Firmly press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Chill the crust in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
MAKE THE FILLING
In a large bowl with an electric or hand mixer, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, caramel sauce, and vanilla extract together until smooth.
Gently fold in half of the whipped topping until just combined.
Stir half of the chopped Twix bars into the pie filling.
ASSEMBLE THE PIE
Pour the mixture into your prepared pie crust and smooth out the top with a spatula or frosting knife.
Spread the leftover whipped topping across the top of the pie filling.
Sprinkle the remaining chopped Twix bars over the top of the pie to garnish.
Refrigerate for 2-4 hours, or overnight before serving to firm up. Slice and serve with chocolate drizzle if desired.

CAN I MAKE NO-BAKE TWIX PIE AHEAD OF TIME?
This No Bake Twix Pie is so easy to make ahead. It will last in your refrigerator for up to a week. Make sure to cover tightly before placing in the fridge. You can also freeze the pie for up to 3 months. To defrost frozen pie, leave in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight to fully thaw.
HOW DO YOU SOFTEN CREAM CHEESE?
Cream cheese is easy to soften – you can set it out at room temperature or soften it more quickly in the microwave.
-To soften at room temperature more quickly, just set the cream cheese on a plate and cut into smaller pieces. The cream cheese should reach room temperature in about 15-20 minutes with this method.
-To soften the cream cheese in the microwave, remove the foil packaging and set the cream cheese in a small bowl or on a plate. Microwave for about 10-15 seconds. If the cream cheese is still cold and hard, continue to microwave for about 5 seconds at a time until the cream cheese is soft throughout. Just make sure not to microwave it too long or it will start to melt!
CAN YOU REPLACE THE COOL WHIP IN NO-BAKE TWIX PIE?
If you can’t find Cool Whip where you live or you prefer not to use it in recipes, you can use stabilized whipped cream instead. If you just use regular whipped cream, the consistency will be too light and the cream will not hold up very well when mixed into the pie filling. It’s very simple to make your own stabilized whipped cream and it just takes a few minutes!
HOW DO YOU MAKE STABILIZED WHIPPED CREAM?
To make stabilized whipped cream, you will need the following ingredients:
- 4 ounces of cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream.
- Beat the cream cheese with the powdered sugar and vanilla until soft and smooth.
- In a separate bowl, beat the whipping cream just until soft peaks form.
- Add the cream cheese mixture to the whipped cream and beat until stiff peaks are formed. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
A little tip for making whipped cream faster. Use a metal bowl for whipping the cream and place the bowl in the freezer for about 30 minutes before you make the whipped cream. This will significantly decrease the amount of time that you will need to beat the whipped cream – the process will go much faster!
