Tips and Tricks for Perfect Snickers Fudge
Making Snickers fudge is a simple process, but there are a few tips and tricks that can help ensure you get the perfect batch every time. Here are some things to keep in mind:
- Use high-quality ingredients: To help the fudge taste the best, it’s important to use the best quality you can find. Look for high-quality chocolate chips, full fat milk, and pure vanilla extract.
- Use parchment paper: Fudge can be sticky, so using a piece of parchment paper in the pan can make it easier to remove from the pan once it’s set. If you don’t have parchment paper, use a non-stick pan or wax paper.
- Don’t overcook the ingredients: Overcooking the fudge can lead to a grainy texture. Be sure to remove the pan from the heat as soon as the butter/sugar mixture has come to a boil. Also, be careful when microwaving the caramels and chocolate layers, heating on short intervals and stirring in between will help prevent burning.
- Chill the fudge before cutting: Once the fudge has set, chill it in the refrigerator for at least an hour before cutting into squares. This will make it easier to cut and help ensure clean, even edges.

Ingredients for Caramel Snickers Fudge

Milk: For a creamy consistency, add in ¼ cup of milk to this fudge recipe.
Powder sugar: The sweet base of this recipe is 3 ½ cups of powdered sugar.
Vanilla extract: Using 1 tsp of vanilla extract will help enhance all the amazing flavors in this dish.
Caramels: You need 11-oz of caramels (unwrapped), to create the amazing layer of caramel that we all know and love about Snickers.
Water: Use 1 TBSP of water to melt the caramels and make it a smooth consistency.
Peanuts: 2 cups of salted peanuts are needed to add a lovely layer of crunch to this delicious fudge.
Chocolate chips: Top off the fudge with a layer of rich chocolate, you will need 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips for this.

When to serve Candy Bar Fudge?
There is absolutely no wrong time for fudge! While fudge is mostly seen gifted and served up around the Christmas holidays and in cookie exchanges, it does just as well being served up for Valentine’s day and anniversaries too. You can serve it up any night of the week or as a simple weekend treat, fudge deserves to be enjoyed all year long!
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO MELT CHOCOLATE?
I prefer to melt chocolate in the microwave because it’s so simple! Here’s how to do it: Add chocolate to a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 1 minute per cup of melting chocolate. Let chocolate sit for 2 minutes in the microwave. Gently stir chocolate. If you still see clumps, heat again in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth. Go slow as if you accidently seize the chocolate, you’ll have to throw it out and start again.
