Cheesy Bacon Crescent Ingredients
Crescent Rolls: You need 1 can of rolled crescent rolls (there is 8 per can). Use Pillsbury or a different brand if preferred, they will turn out delicious either way.
Bacon: Use about 1 tablespoon of bacon crumbles, this is roughly two cooked and chopped strips of bacon. But feel free to add a bit more if you prefer.
Cream Cheese: Half a block of cream cheese (4 ounces) will be sufficient for stuffing these rolls with savory and tangy filling.
Parmesan Cheese: Use a total of 3 tablespoons of shredded Parmesan cheese, divided, to give these rolls amazing flavor.
Onion Powder: Add in ¼ teaspoon of onion powder to help flavor the filling nicely.
Parsley: Use ½ teaspoon of parsley (dried or fresh) to add a little bit of green color and fresh flavor into these rolls.
How to make Cheesy Bacon Crescents
Prep
Get started by preheating the oven to 375 degrees F. Then, line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray it with non-stick cooking spray and set it aside.
Also, set aside 1 tablespoon of parmesan cheese for later use.
Filling
In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, bacon crumbles, 2 tablespoons of parmesan cheese, the onion powder, and the parsley. Stir to mix all ingredients together well.
Next, open the can of rolls and lay them out and cut off the weird, perforated edges.
Proceed to place about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture into the center of the largest end of the crescent roll. Fold the end of the roll over the cream cheese and continue rolling as you normally would.
Then tuck the edges into the center to create the crescent shape. After that, sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese over the top of each of the rolls.
Bake
Space the rolls out on the prepared baking sheet and place them in the preheated oven and bake for 11-13 minutes. Let cool for about 5-minutes on the baking sheet.
Serve them warm and enjoy!
