INGREDIENTS IN PINEAPPLE HAM SLIDERS
Rolls: For the base of these tasty sandwiches, you will need 12 Hawaiian rolls (16 oz package). Hawaiian buns work great with this recipe but any slider bun will work too!
Mayonnaise: A little bit of mayonnaise adds some flavor and moisture to the sliders. If you don’t like mayonnaise, you can use butter or ranch dressing, or leave it off altogether.
Ham: Thinly sliced deli ham works best, but you can use leftover ham slices if you have them.
Mozzarella cheese: Slices of mozzarella cheese pair so well with the ham, but you can use any kind of cheese. Swiss works great too!
Pineapple rings: You can use fresh pineapple if you’d like, but the rings straight out of the can work perfectly! Make sure to pat the pineapple with a paper towel to remove the extra moisture before adding them to the sliders.
Butter: A little bit of melted butter adds flavor to the top and helps the top to crisp up a little bit too.
Dried onion: Add some dried onion to the melted butter for some extra flavor. If you don’t like chunks of onions, you can use onion powder instead.
Poppy seeds: Poppy seeds also make a fun addition to the sliders. They add a little crunch and flavor on top.
Parsley: Just a little bit of fresh parsley sprinkled on top makes the sliders a little fancier before serving. Totally optional. Especially if your kids are like mine and aren’t a fan of anything green!
