Peach Dump Cake Ingredients
-Peach pie filling: You will need 5 cups worth of peach pie filling. You can use our easy homemade recipe here if desired.
-Cinnamon: With one teaspoon of cinnamon we can add a little spiced flavor to our peaches to really make them taste wonderful.
-Cake mix: Use a box of your favorite yellow cake mix. You only need the dry mix itself.
-Butter: You will need to use 1 cup of butter, which is 2 sticks. I generally use salted butter to compensate for the sweet cake mix.
How to Make Peach Dump Cake

What kinds of peaches work best?
I do recommend using freestone peaches so that the pit is easily removed without damaging the fruit. Other than that, you can use whatever variety of peach you like! Ripe ones are best as they are the sweetest and have perfect texture fruit for making pie filling.
Can I Use Canned or Frozen Peaches?
Yes, you can use canned or frozen peaches to make the pie filling for this cobbler recipe. This is our favorite peach pie filling recipe. It’s super easy to make and takes just a few ingredients & minutes!

How long is peach dump cake good for?
If kept covered in the fridge you can expect your leftover peach dump cake to last about 3-4 days in the fridge. As time goes by the top will become soft and soggy so this cake is best enjoyed when freshest for the best textures and results.
Do you serve dump cake cold or warm?
You can serve it either way depending on what you prefer. While I like mine best warm and fresh from the oven with a scoop of ice cream, I know others may enjoy it chilled from the fridge. Serve it how you want, there is no wrong way.
Can I make a dump cake with other flavored pie fillings?
Yes, this recipe works great with other fruity pie fillings such as apple, cherry, or even blueberry. Just swap out the pie filling and you’re good to go.
