Chicken Cordon Bleu Lasagna is made with savory ham, juicy chicken, lasagna noodles all in a creamy white sauce! This flavorful chicken lasagna with white sauce is packed with FOUR types of cheese and makes an incredibly tasty meal.
Making this chicken cordon bleu casserole recipe does require some prep work, but the final results are absolutely amazing and the effort will all be worth it once you take your first bite. You will definitely go back for a second slice of this chicken cordon bleu with pasta!
Easy Chicken and Ham Lasagna
This recipe for Chicken Cordon Bleu Lasagna is easily one of my all-time favorite lasagna dishes, it is so incredible. I love the flavors of Chicken Cordon Bleu but to be honest, I have a hard time rolling the chicken. It is probably because I overstuff it, ha, it needs MORE cheese…yep, that is probably the reason. At any rate, since it is National Pasta Day, I thought I would combine two favorite dishes and I came up with this flavorful lasagna. The chicken and ham go so well together and 4 cheeses, yes FOUR, compliment all the flavors perfectly.
What to serve with lasagna to make it a full meal
Although this lasagna is fantastic on its own, to make it a complete meal for you or your family consider pairing it with a side dish or two. Here are some great ideas for dishes that will go great with this white lasagna recipe.
- These cheesy breadsticks would make an amazing addition with this meal, more cheese please! Or this braided garden herb bread would be a huge hit at dinner as well.
- If you want to add a vegetable side, this cucumber tomato salad would be a great way to add nutrients to this meal. Or this berry spinach salad would be an easy and light addition to this meal.
- Don’t forget about dessert! Keep the lasagna theme going with this chocolate strawberry dessert to enjoy after dinner. Or try this no-bake raspberry pie as a light dessert option after the pasta meal.

Get the baking dish ready by spraying a 9×13 casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray. Then, spread 1/2 the shredded chicken on bottom, followed by 1/2 the ham and about 1/3 of the white sauce. After that, layer 4 lasagna noodles on top, then spread 1/2 the cottage cheese mixture over the noodles. Top that layer with slices of Swiss cheese.
Repeat the process, layer the rest of the chicken, ham and another 1/3 of the white sauce (reserving some sauce for the top). Then top with the remaining lasagna noodles, spread the rest of the cottage cheese mixture over the noodles, then top with slices of Provolone cheese.
Continue to pour the remaining white sauce on top, then finally, sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the entire top of the lasagna.
