You only need 6 ingredients and a few minutes to whip up this delicious dip recipe.

CREAMY APPLE DIP
This delicious dip is made with cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, Cool Whip, and apple pie spice. Mix everything together and top with a can of apple pie filling. Perfect for dipping apples and graham crackers! This is a great dip to take to fall parties and my kids love it as an after-school snack all year long.
What do you serve with apple dip?
Apple Pie Dip can be served with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, pretzels, apple slices, bananas…pretty much anything you might think of! Trust me…this is the perfect snack to whip up and take with you to any fall festivities you have coming up!

INGREDIENTS IN APPLE PIE DIP
Cream cheese – Regular cream cheese works best, but you can use a non-fat or low-fat variety if you prefer. Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature before adding to the other ingredients.
Sweetened condensed milk – You will need seven ounces of sweetened condensed milk (about half a can).
Vanilla extract – The higher the quality of the vanilla, the better.
Apple pie spice – Apple pie spice is a blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and ginger. You can swap this out with just cinnamon if necessary.
Cool Whip – The recipe calls for eight ounces of Cool Whip topping. Make sure the Cool Whip is thawed before mixing with the other ingredients.
Apple pie filling – You will need one can of apple pie filling to add to the top of the dip. I prefer to chop up the apples into smaller pieces before adding them to the dip so that it’s easier to eat! You can also use homemade apple pie filling if you prefer.

HOW TO MAKE APPLE PIE SPICE
This time of year it is really easy to find Apple Pie Spice in most stores, but if you don’t have any on hand, it’s really simple to make your own! It is basically just a mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and ginger. To make 1 teaspoon, you will need 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg, 1/8 teaspoon of allspice, and a dash of ginger.

Can you replace the Cool Whip in the dip?
If you can’t find Cool Whip where you live or you prefer not to use it in recipes, you can use stabilized whipped cream instead. If you just use regular whipped cream, the consistency will be too light and the cream will not hold up very well when mixed into the jello salad. It’s very simple to make your own stabilized whipped cream and it just takes a few minutes!

How do you make stabilized whipped cream?
To make stabilized whipped cream, you will need the following ingredients:
- 8 ounces of cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
- 2/3 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- Beat the cream cheese with the powdered sugar and vanilla until soft and smooth.
- In a separate bowl, beat the whipping cream just until soft peaks form.
- Add the cream cheese mixture to the whipped cream and beat until stiff peaks are formed. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
A little tip for making whipped cream faster. Use a metal bowl for whipping the cream and place the bowl in the freezer for about 30 minutes before you make the whipped cream. This will significantly decrease the amount of time that you will need to beat the whipped cream – the process will go much faster!

HOW TO SOFTEN CREAM CHEESE
Cream cheese is easy to soften – you can set it out at room temperature or soften it more quickly in the microwave.
-To soften at room temperature more quickly, just set the cream cheese on a plate and cut it into smaller pieces. The cream cheese should reach room temperature in about 15-20 minutes with this method.
-To soften the cream cheese in the microwave, remove the foil packaging and set the cream cheese in a small bowl or on a plate. Microwave for about 10-15 seconds. If the cream cheese is still cold and hard, continue to microwave for about 5 seconds at a time until the cream cheese is soft throughout. Just make sure not to microwave it too long or it will start to melt!
