CHURRO CRISPY TREATS

These Churro Crispy Treats combine cinnamon sugar with gooey marshmallows and crispy cereals in a simple to make treat inspired by delicious churros.

Easy Churro Crispy Treats - Butter With A Side of BreadI have an intense love for rice crispy treats! We have amassed a great collection of them here– the Spring ones with M&M’s are among my favorites. I had an idea to use some Cinnamon Toast Crunch to make a churro variety and they are amazing! Super simple to make and you’ll love the gooey marshmallow cinnamon flavors.

Churro Crispy Treats

  • 2 1/2 cups Rice Krispie cereal
  • 2 1/2 cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal
  • 6 cups regular mini marshmallows, divided
  • 4 TBSP butter
  • 3 TBSP sugar + 1/2 tsp cinnamon, mixed
  1. Spray a 9×13 pan with non-stick cooking spray and set aside. Measure out cereals and set aside.
  2. Add 5 cups regular mini marshmallows and butter to a large, microwaveable bowl. (I like to spray the bowl and a rubber spatula first with non-stick spray to make this entire process easier!)
  3. Microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds on high, until marshmallows begin to puff up. Add more time in 30 second increments if needed, not to exceed 2 minutes.
  4. Remove from microwave and stir in both cereals. Once they’re well incorporated, add in remaining cup mini marshmallows. Stir until mixture is combined.
  5. Transfer to 9×13 pan and press gently into pan, making the top as level as possible. Sprinkle top with cinnamon sugar. Cool and cut into squares.
