Ingredients for Italian Beef Soup
Beef: For the main protein of this soup, you need 1 lb. of ground beef.
Pasta: Use uncooked macaroni noodles in this dish.
Beef broth: The liquid base of this soup is beef broth.
Beans: Add one 14.5-oz can of Kidney beans, drained & rinsed. As well as one 14.5-oz can of green beans, drained.
Tomatoes: Use one can of EACH diced tomatoes and tomato sauce.
Italian seasoning: Season the dish with 2 tsp of Italian seasoning.
Parmesan cheese: You will need about ⅓ cup of Parmesan cheese, for topping each single serving of soup.

Italian Beef Soup Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef browned
- 1 cup macaroni noodles uncooked
- 30 oz beef broth
- 14.5 oz can Kidney beans drained & rinsed
- 14.5 oz can green beans drained
- 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
- 15 oz can tomato sauce
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ⅓ cup Parmesan cheese for topping
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large saucepan over medium heat. Drain off fat.
- Then add all the remaining ingredients EXCEPT for the parmesan cheese. Be sure to drain the kidney and green beans before adding to the mixture. Stir all the ingredients until well combined.
- Bring the soup to a low boil, then reduce the heat, and simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the pasta is cooked through.
- Ladle into single serving bowls and top each with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. Serve hot and enjoy!
