- 1 ½ cups milk
- ½ tsp season salt
- ⅛ tsp black pepper
- 6 oz french fried onions
Instructions
- Prep: Before you can begin assembling the casserole, the chicken needs to be cooked and diced. You can use a store-bought rotisserie chicken or this crockpot recipe works great too.
- Once the chicken is cooked, get the oven preheating to 350°F. Spray a 9×13 glass baking dish with non-stick spray and set it aside.
- Assemble: In a large bowl, mix the hash brown potatoes, cooked chicken, 1 cup of cheddar Jack cheese, cream cheese, milk, and the seasonings until well combined. Spread the mixture into the prepared pan, top the casserole with the remaining 1 cup of cheese.
- Bake: Cover the pan with foil, place it in the preheated oven, and bake for 35 minutes.
