Proceed to press half the meatloaf in the pan. Then place half of the cheese slices overlapping across the meatloaf. Now press the remaining meat over the cheese.
Sauce
Combine the sauce ingredients in a bowl, whisk to combine, and then pour over the top of the meatloaf.
Lay the remaining cheese overlapping on the top of the meatloaf.
Bake
Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour.
