What is focaccia?
Focaccia is a type of Italian bread that is flat and oven-baked. It has a soft, chewy texture and is typically seasoned with olive oil, salt, and various herbs, such as rosemary. Focaccia can be served as a side dish, used for sandwiches, or enjoyed on its own. It is usually topped with a variety of ingredients, including vegetables, cheeses, or olives. The dough is similar to pizza dough but is usually thicker and can be made with different flavors and toppings, making it a versatile and flavorful bread option. Unlike traditional focaccia, this triple berry version is more sweet than savory, and is perfect for breakfast!

Triple Berry Focaccia Bread Ingredients
Bread Dough: The recipe calls for store-bought frozen bread dough, which makes this recipe so fast and easy. Focaccia is typically made with white bread, but a wheat bread dough works well too!
Butter: Melted butter adds a little flavor and richness to the dish.
Olive Oil: Focaccia bread is known for being smothered in olive oil, but this recipe is unique in that you’ll only need a very small amount!
Fresh Berries: The recipe calls for a mixture of fresh blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries, but you can also add some strawberries if you have them on hand. Any combination of berries is perfect!
Sugar: A little white granulated sugar sprinkled on top adds a little texture and sweetness.
