Caramel Peanut Butter Dip is made with 4 simple ingredients and is perfect for dipping apples. Made with melted caramels, milk, peanut butter, and chopped peanuts in less than 5 minutes!
We love apples. My kids are a bit picky, but apples are a food that we all agree on! We like to eat them plain, but my kids really love having something yummy to dip apple slices in. Often we just dip in plain peanut butter, but adding a few other ingredients makes the peanut butter go farther and gives you more dip for each bite!
I love caramel and peanut butter with apples, but I’d never even thought about putting them together in the same dip. And now I’m really wondering why I never thought about it because it’s amazing!
What is caramel peanut butter dip?
This delicious apple dip is made with melted caramels, peanut butter and chopped peanuts. Just melt the caramels in a bowl with a little bit of milk and peanut butter in the microwave and stir it all until creamy. Sprinkle some chopped peanuts on top and then serve with sliced apples. It’s definitely best when served warm!

What to dip in Creamy Caramel Peanut Butter Dip?
Apples are the obvious choice for dipping, but you can try lots of other dippers as well. Banana slices are delicious! Pretzels and graham crackers are also delicious options.
HOW DO YOU KEEP THE APPLES SLICES FROM GETTING BROWN?
You can slice the apples just before serving, but if you need to slice them in advance, there are a couple of tricks for keeping the apple slices from turning brown. The best way to prevent the apple slices from browning is to toss them in a bowl filled with a little bit of cold water mixed with 1-2 Tbsp of lemon juice. This will prevent the apples from getting brown and will keep them looking pretty and fresh!
You can also sprinkle a little bit of lemon juice directly on top of the apples, but I have found that submerging the apple slices in the cold water mixed with lemon juice seems to work even better, and it also dilutes the lemon flavor quite a bit which I prefer! You can also brush them with a little bit of soda (Sprite or Ginger Ale) or you can sprinkle Fruit-Fresh on top of them.
Store the apples in the refrigerator in an airtight container until you are ready to serve them.
