Waldorf Cinnamon Apple salad is a Thanksgiving staple in our family. It’s sweet, light and is a perfect accompaniment to all the other holiday favorites on the table.

How do you make it so the apples don’t brown so quickly?

Once you have cut up the apples dip them in pineapple juice! It is so easy, they last for a few days without browning AND you can’t taste the pineapple flavor, it just tastes like fresh, crispy, delicious apple! It is a great touch to this salad especially if you are trying to keep it looking pretty for a holiday party!

  1. I would like to make this dish for Thanksgiving. Does it really need to be served immediately? It would be much more doable if I could make it before my guests arrive.

    • If you don’t plan to serve it immediately, then just stir in half the dressing when you make it and the other half right before you serve it. It will taste better that way!

    • I’d say it serves 10-12 as a side dish in a large dinner- such as for Thanksgiving or Christmas, where there are a lot of sides.
