WALDORF CINNAMON APPLE SALAD

 

This salad is a Thanksgiving staple in our family. It’s sweet, light and is a perfect accompaniment to all the other holiday favorites on the table.

Waldorf Cinnamon Apple Salad

  • 3-5 apples, diced but not peeled {about 7-8 cups diced apple}
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1 cup Craisins
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

dressing:

  • 1 small 5.4 oz cup Vanilla Greek Yogurt
  • 2 TBSP granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Combine salad ingredients in a medium sized bowl. In a small bowl, whisk together ingredients for the dressing. Pour over salad and stir to combine. Serve immediately.

  1. I would like to make this dish for Thanksgiving. Does it really need to be served immediately? It would be much more doable if I could make it before my guests arrive.
    • If you don't plan to serve it immediately, then just stir in half the dressing when you make it and the other half right before you serve it. It will taste better that way!
