Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce made from scratch with just 4 simple ingredients. Easy to make and it tastes wonderful with chicken tenders! School is starting again here in less than a week and that means life for my family of 7 is about to get a lot crazier. Which is saying something because really, life is pretty crazy most days with 5 kids running around the house. Anyone want to come visit?! Ha. I didn’t think so.
Part of my plan for keeping my sanity is to have simple and convenient foods in the house that I can whip up in no time at all. The kicker? Everyone also has to like these foods. {The list just got considerably shorter.} One food that’s always been on our list are Tyson® Chicken Nuggets. They’re made with 100% natural ingredients and all-white meat and if you haven’t ever tried them, then you need to grab some at your local Walmart because people, they actually taste really good! It’s true- I eat them.
My kids eat them; we all eat them! Tyson® Chicken Nuggets aren’t like the nuggets you get at any fast food drive-thru, they’re crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside and have great flavor. I love how versatile they are! They can be a snack, lunch, and even part of a nutritious dinner. This honey mustard dipping sauce is a favorite of ours- it adds a nice tangy flavor to the nuggets and, let’s be honest, it’s fun to dunk.
Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
- 2 TBSP mustard (I like to use 1 TBSP regular mustard and 1 TBSP fancy mustard)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 TBSP steak sauce
Mix all ingredients together until smooth. Dunk Tyson® Chicken Nuggets in the sauce and enjoy!
The two on the right are older and bigger but the two on the left can hold their own when it comes to this honey mustard dipping sauce!
I found the Tyson® Chicken Nuggets at two locations inside our local Walmart. Makes it convenient to find them.
Little one was dying to hold them until she realized they were frozen. Ha!
This one was beyond thrilled when he pulled them out of the grocery bag! I have a feeling food is going to be this important to him at least into his teenage years.
All happy, fed and smiling! That’s a mom-win if you ask me!
