Chips and salsa is a favorite snack of mine, so I thought I’d try inventing one with all of my favorite fall flavors! This cranberry sauce salsa comes together very quickly and is absolutely amazing when paired with homemade cinnamon chips! This no cook salsa is as easy as mixing things together and letting chill in the fridge while the chips come together in minutes and taste perfect with every crisp, chewy bite.

With these cinnamon sugar tortilla chips and this ocean spray cranberry salsa recipe coming together as one you’re sure to have a great time snacking. The cinnamon tortilla chips are made a bit healthier because we bake them instead of frying, which reduces a lot of fats and grease making them a better choice. Baked cinnamon sugar tortilla chips are a perfect pairing for this healthy cranberry salsa too! This is a snack that really is perfect!
Cranberry Salsa and Chips Ingredients
For the Cranberry Salsa, you will need:
–Cranberry Sauce: You will need 1 14-ounce can of Ocean Spray Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce for the base of this recipe.
–Orange zest: Add in the zest of one orange to make this salsa fresh tasting.
–Apple: To give us some chunks throughout the salsa use one peeled and diced apple.
–Pear: Add a peeled and diced pear to the salsa for added texture and flavor.
–Cinnamon: You will need 1 teaspoon of cinnamon to help spice the salsa and give it some warmth of flavors.
–Nutmeg: Adding in 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg really makes this salsa taste incredible.
For the Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips, you will need:
–Cinnamon: You will need 1/4 cup of cinnamon to help spice the cinnamon-sugar mixture well.
–Tortillas: Use 10 8-inch flour tortillas as the chips. They will bake up nice and crispy.
–Butter: To help the cinnamon-sugar mixture stick to the chips you will need to use 2 tablespoons of softened butter.
–Sugar: Adding 2/3 cups of granulated sugar to the cinnamon-sugar mixture helps to make sure that every chip is well coated and sweet.
How to Make Spiced Cranberry Salsa with Homemade Cinnamon Chips
How to make cranberry salsa
In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the cranberries, apple, pear, orange zest, cinnamon, and nutmeg until combined.
Squeeze in a little orange juice from the orange to add a bit of freshness as well.
Place the salsa in the fridge and let it chill until ready to serve.
How to make cinnamon tortilla chips
Mix together the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl until combined.
Butter one side of the flour tortillas and then sprinkle them generously with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Use a pizza cutter to cut each tortilla into 8-10 equal-sized triangles.
Place the triangles onto the baking sheet.
Bake in the oven at 350 degrees F for 5-6 minutes or until crisp.
Serve salsa with chips.

- 1 can (14 oz.) Ocean Spray® Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
- 1 orange zested
- 1 apple skinned and diced
- 1 pear skinned and diced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 1/4 cup ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 10 flour tortillas 8” diameter
- 2 tablespoons butter softened
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar

How to Make Cranberry Salsa
- In a medium bowl, use a spoon to mix together the cranberries, apple, pear, orange zest, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and nutmeg.

- Add the remaining ground cinnamon (¼ cup) and sugar together in a small bowl, mixing until well combined.
- Butter one side of each tortilla and then sprinkle generously with the cinnamon sugar mixture.

- Place triangles on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 5-6 minutes until crisp.
- Refrigerate salsa in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
