Tangy No-Bake Key Lime Pie recipe made with just 6 ingredients including cream cheese, condensed milk, key lime juice, graham crackers, butter & sugar!

Simple recipe for a sweet & tart key lime pie with only 4 ingredients for the smooth, creamy filling.
A few years ago we traveled to Key West and had the most amazing key lime pies. We fell in love with the flavor and actually brought home some Key Lime juice! Making key lime pie isn’t hard and doesn’t require any fancy ingredients.
Highlights of our Easy Key Lime Pie
- Just 3 ingredients for the filling: cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk and key lime juice! We topped it with whipped cream and fresh lime slices as well. YUM.
- We gave a recipe for homemade graham cracker crust, but you can just buy one to save time, if you’d like!
- Make it in the evening and it’ll be ready by the next day; this recipe is just so dang easy. No-bake, no fuss and full of flavor!
Ingredients Needed for No Bake Key Lime Pie
For the Homemade Graham Cracker Crust:
GRAHAM CRACKER CRUMBS: We used 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs for this pie crust. It fits well in the bottom and up the sides of a 9″ pie.
TO BIND & FLAVOR THE CRUST: Add just 2 things to the graham crackers to make a tasty crust, 2 TBSP granulated sugar and 6 TBSP melted butter.
For the Key Lime Filling:
CREAM CHEESE: You’ll need just one block, 8 oz cream cheese. Make sure it’s been softened!
CONDENSED MILK: We used one 15 oz can of sweetened condensed milk to add creamy sweetness to the pie.
LIME JUICE: We added ½ cup key lime juice to provide that classic lime flavor to the pie. We also topped the pie with fresh whipped cream and lime slices!

Tips for Making this Easy No-Bake Key Lime Pie
—> 1. We love the flavor in this creamy pie! Key Lime juice is pretty easy to find now, but if you’re struggling, you can just use regular lime juice.
—> 2. You’ll whisk together the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk into a smooth, creamy filling, but you must make sure that the cream cheese is soft!
—> 3. I once used Coconut Sweetened condensed milk and OH MY WORD it was amazing.
—> 4. We supplied a recipe for a simple Graham Cracker crust, but you can cheat and buy one from the store; zero judgement whatsoever!

Key Lime Pie Storage
Store leftovers covered in an airtight container the fridge for up to 4 days.
Pie can be frozen for up to 3 months in a similar manner.

No-Bake Key Lime Pie recipe
Ingredients
For the Crust:
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs 6.6oz, 187.5g
- 2 TBSP granulated sugar
- 6 TBSP butter melted
For the Filling:
- 8 oz cream cheese softened, (227g)
- 15 oz sweetened condensed milk 300ml
- ½ cup key lime juice 4fl.oz, 118ml
- whipped cream and lime slices for topping
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar and melted butter. The mixture will feel like damp sand and will stick together when pressed. Press the graham cracker mixture up the sides and in the bottom of a 9 inch pie plate. Place in the fridge to chill while we make the filling.
- In a stand mixer, beat the cream cheese on high until smooth, about 2 minutes.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk and the key lime juice and continue beating on medium speed until the all the ingredients have mixed in, about 2 minutes.
- Pour the filling into the graham cracker crust. Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours or up to overnight.
- When you are ready to serve, top the pie with whipped cream and fresh lime slices.

HOW DO YOU MAKE STABILIZED WHIPPED CREAM?
If you want to make whipped cream ahead of time, you can, but you have to stabilize it. To make stabilized whipped cream, you will need the following ingredients:
- 4 ounces of cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
- ⅓ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
Beat the whipping cream just until soft peaks form.
Add in the cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla. Whip on high until mixture is smooth.
Store in the refrigerator until ready to use, up to 3 days.
A little tip for making whipped cream faster: use a metal bowl and place the bowl in the freezer for about 30 minutes before you make the whipped cream. This will significantly decrease the amount of time that you will need to beat the whipped cream – the process will go much faster!

How do you Soften Cream cheese?
Here in the US, cream cheese comes in an 8-oz brick wrapped in foil packaging. Most recipes call for softened cream cheese, which can be done in a few different ways:
- Microwave it! Just 20 seconds or so in the microwave will sufficiently soften cream cheese. Be sure to remove the foil packaging first and to place the cream cheese in a microwave safe bowl.
- Hot towel wrap! This is what I tend to do most often. All you do is get a clean kitchen rag, get it soaking wet with hot water, then ring it out quickly and wrap the hot towel around the foil package of cream cheese. It takes just a few minutes and it’s softened!
- Let it sit out! If you can plan ahead, the absolute easiest way to soften cream cheese is just to let it sit on the counter for an hour or two. Easy!
