KITCHEN REVIEWS: My Favorite Bread Pan, Mini Measuring Cups & More

We do a ton of cooking here at Butter With A Side of Bread! As you would imagine, we use a lot of kitchen gadgets and of course, we all have our favorite items. Each week we’d like to share some of those favorites with you! So here’s this week’s edition, featuring my all-time favorite bread pans, measuring cups and more:

Norpro 12″ Bread Pans~ I’ve used many a bread pan but years ago I bought these and absolutely adore them. I love that they’re 12″ long so that bread you make ends up being toaster sized. Brilliant, isn’t it?! The bread also produces slices that fit in sandwich bags for lunches on-the-go. Again, so smart. Why don’t all bread pans come this size? Mini Measuring Cup– I bought my first mini measuring cup on a whim. I got it home and set it in my cupboard wondering if I’d made a mistake. I thought, “Am I ever going to use this thing? ” Famous Last Words. I use it all the time. As a matter of fact, I have 3 and use them all constantly. I love that it has tablespoon measurements and ounce measurements. So handy. I appreciate the angled measurements so you can easily read as you pour into it. Cuisinart Immersion Hand Blender– Soup season is almost here and the absolute easiest way to quickly blend soups is with an immersion blender. This one is the best! I bought a cheap one and had to replace it a year later. I opted for this Cuisinart and I’ve been using my for a good 4 years now and it’s still going strong! Apple Peeler, Corer & Slicer– If you’re planning on making any baked goods with fresh apples, an apple Peeler, Corer & Slicer is a must. It takes the tedious task of preparing an apple for baking from 3-4 minutes to about 15 seconds. I’ve had the one pictured for years! I love that it suctions to the countertop so that it stays put while you’re using it. It’s made of cast iron too so you’ll likely use it forever. See the Apple Peeler, Corer and Slicer here.

Stainless Steel Measuring Cups & Spoons Set- This is a very basic set of measuring cups and spoons but sometimes basic also just happens to be perfect. They’re easy to use, easy to clean and I think everyone needs some in their kitchen! See the Stainless Steel Measuring Cups & Spoons set here.
