Ingredients

  • 16 oz sausage cooked & crumbled
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar Jack cheese
  • 16 oz crescent rolls 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls

Instructions

  • Prep: Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
  • Cook Sausage: The sausage needs to be cooked before baking, so cook the sausage in a skillet until it is no longer pink. Make sure to crumble it into small pieces as you cook it. Remove the skillet from the heat and allow the sausage to cool for 5 minutes before use.
  • Make Filling: Cut the cream cheese into small cubes and add them to the skillet with the sausage, along with the shredded cheese as well. Stir the sausage and cheeses together to combine well and let the cheese melt with the meat. You want the mixture to be well combined so that everything is evenly distributed throughout the rolls.
  • Assembly: Open the cans of crescent rolls and separate the triangles. Use a sharp knife to slice them in half lengthwise to make two thinner triangles. Place a teaspoon of sausage filling onto the widest portion of the triangles, then roll them up from wide side to small side and place them onto your prepared baking sheet. Repeat until all of the rolls have been filled and rolled.
  • Bake: Place the stuffed rolls in the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until they are lightly browned. Serve warm and enjoy! These are fabulous with a bit of maple syrup on top as well.

Notes

Sausage crescent rolls can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
To reheat them, preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and bake for 5-7 minutes until heated through.
