Add the Oreos to a food processor or blender and pulse until fine crumbs form. Add to a large bowl and add the cream cheese as well. Using a hand beater, carefully beat until everything is mixed together and thick. Get a large tray and line it with parchment paper. Use a cookie scoop to scoop out 2 tablespoons of the mixture into a ball and place it on the parchment paper. Repeat until you have everything rolled out. (To size the balls: Roll out a ball and place it into one of the paper cups, if it goes all the way in it’s too small. If it sits halfway in and halfway out it’s perfect.)
Place each color of sprinkles in a small bowl - you will have one bowl for each color of sand sprinkles.
Place the balls in the freezer for 30 minutes. Before removing them from the freezer, melt the almond bark. Place the almond bark in a large microwaveable bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring every 30 seconds until completely melted and smooth.
Using two forks, dip the balls into the melted almond bark. Let some of the excess drip off and then place each ball back onto the parchment paper. Repeat until everything is dipped and let harden (they take just a few seconds to dry.)
Once hard, use a paintbrush (or a clean finger) to 'paint' some almond bark around the bottom of the ball, immediately place it into the paper cup, and lightly press the sides to the wet almond bark. (We are basically gluing the paper cup to the ball.) Set aside and repeat to each ball and cup.
Once that’s dry (a few more seconds) hold the cup and dip the Oreo ball back into the melted almond bark, making sure to dip just right up to the top of the cup. Wipe the ball on the edge of the bowl all around the ball so it’s just a thin layer of chocolate, immediately dunk and swirl in the color sand sprinkle of your choice. Swirl for a few seconds to make sure it gets on there. Set aside and repeat with the other colors. If little spots are missing sprinkles you can dab the chocolate on with a paintbrush and then dip the ball into the sprinkles in that spot.
Make sure everything is hard and dry and then serve and enjoy! Store the Oreo balls in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
