- 1 prepared graham cracker pie crust
- ½ cup warm hot fudge
- 8 oz cream cheese room temp
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 2 TBSP milk
- ¼ tsp peppermint extract
- 8 oz whipped topping
- green food coloring
- gum drops, mint leaves & red hot candies for decorative topping
Prep: Spread warm hot fudge on the bottom of the pie crust. Set in fridge to cool and set.
Filling: Beat cream cheese in a medium-sized mixing bowl with an electric mixer until smooth. Beat in sugar, milk and peppermint extract. Gently fold in the whipped topping.
Divide mixture in half. Color one of the whipped cream portions lightly with green coloring.
Assemble: Layer a dollop of white cream on top of the cooled hot fudge. Spread gently, then top with green whipped topping. Layer the white and green topping until both are completely used.
Top pie with green gum drops that have been flattened, positioning the red hot candies between the gum drop leaves. Slice, serve and enjoy!
Store left over cream pie covered and in the fridge for up to a week.
Pie can be frozen for up to 3 months if stored in an airtight container. Please note, this pie might not thaw and hold the same consistency as when originally made.
