Bright & flavorful Holiday Dried Cranberry Chutney made easy with fruit, spices & brown sugar! The perfect cranberry relish to serve with cheese & crackers, or alongside ham or turkey for the holidays.
Prep: Start by peeling and dicing the apple into small chunks.
Cook: Combine the cranberries, brown sugar, water, apple chunks, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves in a medium/large saucepan and cook over medium heat.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Continue to simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Chill: Let the cranberry mixture cool & then transfer to an airtight container. Chill until ready to serve. Chutney is best made ahead of time, so that it has time for the flavors to meld prior to serving.
Notes
