- Prepared white cake batter made from a box mix of your choice
- 1 cup diced fresh strawberries
- 1 cup crushed golden Oreos plus extra for topping
- 1 3.4- ounce vanilla instant pudding mix
- 2 ½ cups cold milk
- 12 ounces Cool Whip
- Sliced strawberries for topping
- Halved golden Oreos for topping
Prepare the pan: Spray a 9x13-inch baking pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
Mix in strawberries and Oreos: Stir the diced strawberries and crushed Golden Oreos into your prepared white cake batter.
Bake the cake: Pour the batter into the pan and bake according to the cake mix package directions.
Poke the cake: Once baked, use the back of a wooden spoon or a large straw to poke holes all over the cake. Cool the cake in the fridge or freezer for at least 1 hour.
Make the pudding: Whisk the pudding mix and cold milk together until very smooth.
Pour pudding over cake: Spread the pudding evenly over the cooled cake, pressing it gently into the holes.
Chill again: Place the cake back into the fridge for about 30 minutes to let the pudding settle.
Add Cool Whip: Spread about 8 ounces of Cool Whip over the top of the cake.
Decorate: Sprinkle extra crushed Golden Oreos over the cake. Optional: pipe small swirls of Cool Whip around the border and decorate with strawberry slices and halved Oreos.
Serve: Slice and serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
