- 1 egg
- ½ cup Coca Cola soda divided
- ½ cup crushed Ritz crackers
- 6 TBSP French salad dressing divided
- 2 TBSP grated Jack cheese
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 ½ lbs ground beef
- 6 hamburger buns
- sliced tomatoes, cheddar cheese, sliced red onions, lettuce, pickles for burger toppings
In a bowl, combine the egg, ¼ cup Coca Cola, cracker crumbs, 2 TBSP salad dressing, Jack cheese, and salt. Add beef and mix well.
Shape into six ¾-in. thick patties. (If you have time, let the patties rest and chill in the fridge for 10 minutes or so before grilling. It'll help the flavor develop & help set the burgers so they're less prone to falling apart on the grill.)
In a bowl, combine the remaining Coca Cola and salad dressing; set aside.
Generously grease the grill, then grill patties, uncovered, over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side, depending on how big you made your burgers. Brush the patties with the glaze. Grill 2-3 minutes longer or until juices run clear, basting and turning occasionally. Serve on buttered, toasted buns with all the fixings your heart desires. Enjoy!
Leftover burgers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3–4 days.
For longer storage, freeze them in a freezer-safe bag or container for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before reheating.
