Preheat oven to 350°.
Pour melted butter into an 8X8" baking pan.
In a large mixing bowl, mix flour, one cup of sugar, and baking powder together. Add milk and stir until the batter is smooth. Pour evenly over the butter, do not stir.
In a small saucepan, mix the blueberries, lemon juice, and remaining ¼ cup of sugar. Stir over medium-high heat until the mixture comes to a boil.
Remove the blueberry mixture from the heat and pour evenly over the butter and batter, do not stir.
Bake for 45 minutes. Serve while warm with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream!
