  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Pour melted butter into an 8X8" baking pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix flour, one cup of sugar, and baking powder together. Add milk and stir until the batter is smooth. Pour evenly over the butter, do not stir.
  • In a small saucepan, mix the blueberries, lemon juice, and remaining ¼ cup of sugar. Stir over medium-high heat until the mixture comes to a boil.
  • Remove the blueberry mixture from the heat and pour evenly over the butter and batter, do not stir.
  • Bake for 45 minutes. Serve while warm with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream!
