Ingredients

  • 13-14 oz package Golden Oreos
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened to room temp
  • 4 oz yellow candy melts
  • 4 oz blue candy melts
  • 4 oz pink candy melts
  • 3 tbsp pastel-colored sprinkles

Instructions

  • MAKE THE OREO BALLS: Crush the Oreos finely in a blender or food processor and add them to a large bowl. Add the cream cheese and beat using a hand mixer until a dough consistency forms. Line a large baking sheet or tray with parchment paper.
  • Roll out about a tablespoon of dough into a ball and place it on the parchment paper. Repeat until there is no more dough left. A cookie scoop makes this process easier! Place the balls of dough in the freezer for 1 hour.
  • MELT THE CANDY MELTS: In three separate microwave-safe bowls add pink to one, blue to one, and yellow to one. Melt each one in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until melted and smooth. Make sure to mix with a clean utensil so you don’t mix colors.
  • DIP AND DECORATE: Once everything is melted, take the Oreo balls from the freezer. Use two forks to dip the ball into whatever color you choose first. Lightly tap the fork on the side of the bowl to have the leftover candy fall back into the bowl. Set gently on parchment paper or wax paper. Repeat with all the balls alternating colors.
  • Once all the Oreo truffles are dipped get three small zip lock bags out, pour the leftover melted candy melts into each one, snip a tiny piece of the corner off with scissors, and then drizzle pink over the yellow and blue dipped ones, or blue over the yellow and pink, etc. You can drizzle two colors on one as well.
  • As soon as you drizzle the candy sprinkle the sprinkles right on top so they stick. Once done you can set it in the fridge for 5 minutes so the candy hardens faster. Keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

Store the Oreo balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days.
You can also freeze the truffles for up to 3 months in an airtight container or ziplocked bag.
