- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 2 mini apple pies or about ⅓ of a regular 8-9" apple pie, crust and all!
Whip: Use an electric hand mixer to whip the cream and vanilla into stiff peaks. This will take between 3-5 minutes depending on how powerful your hand mixer is.
Once the cream starts to reach stiff peaks, add in the condensed milk and mini apple pies. Lower the speed of your mixer and continue whisking until the apple pie is broken up and the ice cream mixture is smooth and uniformly mixed.
Freeze: Pour the ice cream into a 9x5 inch loaf pan and cover it with plastic wrap. Transfer the pan to the freezer for 5 hours, or until the center of the ice cream is firm to the touch. Scoop, serve, and enjoy!
Make sure you keep your ice cream tightly covered with plastic wrap to prevent it from developing freezer burns. You can also freeze your ice cream in a plastic container with a lid.
As long as you keep your ice cream covered properly, you can keep it in the freezer for up to 2 months.
