Next, cut the loaf of bread into cubes and place them into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Then, in a large bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, whipping cream, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Proceed to pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes.
Cover this dish with saran wrap or foil and refrigerate overnight or for 5-6 hours.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Then, in a microwave safe bowl place the butter, brown sugar and flour into the microwave and heat for 30-45 second intervals, stirring between each one, until mixture is completely melted.
Pour the melted butter mixture over the egg soaked bread and coat evenly over the entire pan.
Bake in the preheated oven, uncovered, for 45-60 minutes, longer depending on how crisp you like it. Let it cool for about 5 minutes before cutting. Serve and enjoy!
