Ingredients

  • 18 frozen pre-made rolls
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • ¾ cup Parmesan cheese shredded
  • 6 strips bacon cooked & crumbled
  • cup green onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Alfredo sauce optional, for dipping

Instructions

  • Prep: The rolls need to be thawed. Pull them out of the freezer about 30 minutes before getting this recipe started. Then, cut them in half with kitchen shears.
  • The bacon needs to be cooked and crumbled. Check out this super simple recipe for an easy way to cook bacon. Get the green onion finely chopped and ready to go as well.
  • Grease a 9 x 13 pan or 9-inch cast iron skillet with butter or non-stick cooking spray, and set it aside.
  • Cheese coating: In a small bowl, melt the butter in the microwave for 30-45 seconds, until fully melted.
  • In a second large bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, bacon, green onion & onion powder. Whisk to combine well.
  • Dip the dough pieces in the melted butter, then toss with the cheese mixture to coat. Place the rolls in the prepared baking pan, repeat until all rolls are coated.
  • Rise: Cover roll with a kitchen towel and let them rise in a warm place until almost doubled in size, this takes roughly 45 minutes.
  • Bake: Place them in the preheated oven and bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown. Serve warm, with Alfredo sauce to dip them, if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

These rolls can last for up to 3-4 days when stored properly at room temperature.
For longer storage, you can freeze the bread for up to 2-3 months. Wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and store it in an airtight container or bag.
