Strawberry Cool Whip Candy is made with only 3 ingredients and a microwave. Easy and delicious candy recipe that is perfect for Valentine's Day - or anytime you want something sweet!
Place the whipped topping in a large bowl and set aside.
In a microwave-safe bowl melt the strawberry candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring in between each interval until the chocolate is smooth and melted. Make sure not to overcook because it will cause the chocolate to seize.
Set aside to cool slightly.
Stir the melted strawberry candy melts into the whipped topping and stir until combined.
Pour the candy into the prepared pan and smooth out until even. Place in the freezer for at least 1 hour, but up to overnight.
In a microwave-safe dish melt the almond bark in 30-second intervals, stirring in between each interval until the almond bark is melted and smooth.
Remove the candy from the freezer and cut into 20 equal pieces. The candy will still be pretty sticky, so your squares may not be perfectly shaped - it's ok!
Using 2 forks, dip each piece of candy into the melted almond bark and place it onto a tray lined with wax paper.
Immediately sprinkle each dipped candy with sprinkles. Repeat with all the squares.
Let set up in the fridge for at least 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Candy can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
