Prep : Wash & slice the fruit. Remove the stems from the strawberries, slice into quarters or halves depending on their size. Slice the bananas into ½" size pieces. Set fruit aside for future use.
Whipped cream mixture: In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream and vanilla extract on high speed with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form, this typically takes about 5-7 minutes.
In a separate large bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Proceed to add in the whipped cream mixture to the cream cheese mixture and stir until its well incorporated.
Assemble: Gently fold in the strawberries and bananas to the mixture until all the fruit is well coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dish until you are ready to serve. Enjoy!
This fruit salad is best served immediately, or same day as its made.
Freezing is not recommended as it will not hold up well in the defrosting process.
