Shamrock Pretzels

Shamrock Pretzels are a festive treat made with crunchy mini pretzels and pretzel sticks dipped in smooth green candy melts. These sweet-and-salty bites are as fun to decorate as they are to eat!

Ingredients

  • 12 oz bag green Wilton Candy Melts
  • 60 mini pretzels
  • 20 stick pretzels
  • 60 pieces green & white chocolate candies
  • 2 TBSP green & white sprinkles

Instructions

  • Start by melting the chocolate in a bowl for 1 minute in the microwave. Gently stir, then microwave for additional 30 second intervals as needed.
  • Set out a large sheet of wax paper or parchment paper out on a large baking sheet or two.
  • Arrange 3 mini pretzels and 1 stick pretzel, then dip each in the melted chocolate, one after the other, shake off the excess chocolate. Lay each pretzel on the prepared baking sheets, forming the shamrock shape where the bottoms of all 3 mini pretzels are touching. Then wedge in the coated stick pretzel between them.
  • Immediately after arranging your shamrock, decorate it with 3 chocolate candies and green and white sprinkles. Be sure to do this quickly, want to do this before the chocolate sets. Have some helpers on hand to make this step quick and easy!
  • Let the shamrock pretzels cool until the chocolate turns from shiny to matte. Then gently remove any chocolate dribbles from the sides (if you prefer). Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftover chocolate covered pretzels in an airtight container and they should be good for up to 2 weeks. You can store them in the fridge as well, if you like your chocolate chilled.
