- 28 oz kielbasa sausage sliced (two 14-oz packages)
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup Dr. Pepper
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp red pepper flake optional
- Parsley for garnish optional
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Combine the bbq sauce, brown sugar, Dr. Pepper & onion powder in a large mixing bowl. Add in ¼ tsp red pepper flakes for added kick, if preferred.
Add the sliced sausage and toss to combine.
Transfer to a 9x13 baking dish and bake for 30 minutes, stirring once or twice throughout. The sausage will get glazed and caramelized looking.
Garnish with parsley & serve with toothpicks for a party, or with roasted potatoes for dinner. Enjoy!
Will serve 12-16 as a generous appetizer, or 6-8 as a main dish for dinner.
